  26.      HSLDoor will NOT opperate correctly under WildFire.  
  27.      The version of WildFire that I have does not faithfully 
  28.      recreate the SFxxxxx.DAT files.  This was a known 
  29.      problem that was supposed to be fixed in a later 
  30.      version of WildFire, but I don't know if this has been 
  31.      done or not.  I would highly recommend NOT running 
  32.      HSLDOOR under WildFire.

  96. -  You can also exit chat mode by using ALT/S.  This will save the 
  97.    contents of the virtual screen buffer to a text file called 
  98.    HSLDOOR.CAP.  This will not capture all the text of the chat if you 
  99.    have gone beyond 200 lines of chat, but should capture upto the first 
  100.    200 lines of chat.

  103. -  Added a user chat facility to the door (have we gone to far? <grin>).  
  104.    The sysop can press F3 and the user will be brought into a window 
  105.    where both can type.  The text in the window has a nice word wrap 
  106.    (what a pain, but I just couldn't have it any other way) that will 
  107.    make the output quite legible to both sides.  To exit the chat mode, 
  108.    press ALT/F3 (or ALT/X).  The No Keystroke timout is suppended while 
  109.    in chat mode, but user's time left in the door continues to tick 
  110.    away.  Is this acceptable?  Please test this function out as it is 
  111.    totally new and my first stab at something of this nature.  The local 
  112.    side of this chat window is an ANSI screen with a 200 line scroll 
  113.    back, so you can use UpArrow, PgUp, PgDn etc. to go back over the 
  114.    text typed.

  119. -  Changed the way the door initializes the Comm Port.  Please report

  121. -  Yeah!!  The door now can take input from the local side, so if a user 
  122.    is totally lost, you can help them type in what ever they need.
  123. -  Added some new SysOp features.  From the local side the following
  124.    keystokes also work:
  125.     ESC - Abort immediately.  Send user back to BBS.
  126.     F1  - Show SysOp Help Screen (carful here, when the help screen is 
  127.           up the remote user's keystrokes are not processed.  They will 
  128.           be, as soon as you get rid of the help window.  The help window 
  129.           has a 10 second time out on it.)
  130.     F6  - Give the user 5 minutes more time.
  131.     F7  - Take 5 minutes from the user.  If less than 5 minutes left, 
  132.           will deduct in 1 minute increments.
  133.     F9  - Twit (be cause the user is one) the user back to the BBS with 
  134.           a message saying the SysOp has requested them to return to the 
  135.           BBS.
  136.     F10 - Twit the user back to the BBS with NO message.      
  137. -  Fixed a VERY weird problem with the door thinking the user had no 
  138.    time left when they actually had LOTS of time left.  I think this may 
  139.    be a TP compiler bug, but anyhow, it's fixed.

  166. -  Made some changes to facilitate multi-node systems.  HSLDoor will now 
  167.    create HSLTRxx.WRK where xx is the node number.  This will allow 
  168.    several nodes to access the same HSLDOOR.EXE as each door will have 
  169.    it's own work directory.  The HSLTR.WRK directory will no longer be 
  170.    used and may be deleted.  I also added the ability to indicate the 
  171.    path to the SFDOORS.DAT file (or SFMESS, SFFILE, SFMAIN.DAT files).  
  172.    You do this by using /DAT= on the command line.  This eliminates the 
  173.    need to copy the .DAT file to the HSLDOOR.EXE directory.  Here is an 
  174.    example of the call to the door a multi-node system might use:

  182. -  Cleaned up a lot of the routines used for local mode so that it

  186.    files currently in those queues.  Still to come is the ability to 
  187.    edit these queues.
  188. -  There is now a <V>iew BBS File Lists option from the main menu.  When 
  189.    you go to this menu you will be presented with the descriptions of 
  190.    the first 10 file areas.  You can page through this listing with <N> 
  191.    to get the next set of areas or <P> to go back in this list.  To view 
  192.    the SFFILES.BBS for a certain area, enter that area's number.  If an 
  193.    area is not available to a security level, but IS marked as Preview it 
  194.    will be displayed.  If an area is not available to a user and IS NOT 
  195.    marked Preview, it should display as "Not Available".  I had some 
  196.    problems with the Non-Stop mode of listing these files on slow 
  197.    non-error correcting connections.  Please test this function under as 
  198.    many configurations as possible.

  204. -  Private uploads are now working.  When a user enters '\' as the first 
  205.    character in an upload description, the file will be copied to the 
  206.    destination directory, but HEYSYSOP.LOG will be updated with the file 
  207.    name, description etc. instead of SFFILES.BBS.
  208. -  Changed the way file directories are stored in the program.  Please 
  209.    test that users can find the files they have access to and are denied 
  210.    those they don't have access to.
  211. -  Added a status line on the BBS side that shows caller and calling 
  212.    from.
  213. -  Fixed bug in the way KUploaded and Downloaded were being incremented.
  214.    They should now update correctly.

  222. -  Changed the format of the configuration file.  Please see the sample 
  223.    enclosed.  You must use the key words, BBS=, REGNO=, and DEST=.  You 
  224.    can now specify a name for an alternate log file.  By default the 
  225.    door will write it's information to the CALLERS.TMP file for this 
  226.    node.  If this is what you desire it to do, you DON'T need to add the 
  227.    LOG= line.  If you would like logging to go to a different file than 
  228.    CALLERS.TMP, add the LOG= line that contains the full path and file 
  229.    name of your alternate log file.  (Is this what you were looking for 
  230.    Dave?).
  231. -  Added display of approximate transfer times on downloads.  The door 
  232.    will also not allow a user to download more files than they have time 
  233.    for.
  234. -  Private uploads don't work yet, even though the file description 
  235.    prompt indicates to use the '\' for private uploads.  This should be 
  236.    functional in the next release (this weekend I hope if I don't OD on 
  237.    Turkey and Cranberries!).
